Game Day Featuring “Sub Terra” Sat Jan 26

Please join us for an afternoon of fun this Sat Jan. 26th from 12:00 to 3:00.

This week we’ll be featuring “Sub Terra”. Sub Terra is a 1 – 6 player, fully cooperative game where players spend their turn exploring and revealing the tunnel system around them, attempting to survive the various perils of the cave, from floods and cave ins to gas leaks and scree. Players each have a role which gives them specialist abilities, such as an Engineer with dynamite to blast a new route or a Scout to find a route more easily.

This is an open free event all we ask if you reserve your spot on our Facebook Page as space is limited.

We’ll also have “Fireball Island”, “My Little Scythe”, “Tubyrith”, and “Tiny Epic Galaxies”, available for anyone wishing to give them a try.

Game Review: Tiny Epic Galaxies

Small Box BIG GAME

I finally had a chance to play this game and its a ton of fun. It’s complex enough for advanced gamers and simple enough for the newbie (me) gamer. I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of the game and ingenuity of the mechanics. The quality of the pieces (cards, mats, dice, tokens) are quite good. Tiny Epic also have an expansion “Beyond The Black” to further expand your Intergalactic reach but that’s for another day. We have an open demo in the store if you’d like to give it a whirl.

If I have anything negative to say it would be that the Galaxy mats could be larger but then it wouldn’t “Tiny Epic”.

For a good look at this game, how it’s played and the level of play check out TableTop: Wil Wheaton Plays TINY EPIC GALAXIES w/ Mayim Bialik, Tim Schafer, & Andy Weir!

Parents / Grandparents

I have an open game in the store, come in and I’ll show you how it works and how you can help your child build confidence with reading.
